LA Dreaming
Loved my recent weekend excursion to LA... Thankfully, a misentered address into the GPS got my friend Caroline and I lost in Venice Beach- a very easygoing detour out of the sometimes hard to handle Hollywood. Dinners at Cleo, Nobu and Bazaar rounded out each day and thankfully I found my star on the Hollywood walk of fame. There's nothing out there a cruise in a convertible, top down, wind in your hair, can't fix. Can't wait to go back next year!
Must See.
And probably already have. But just in case...

Coco
The Coveteur covered Coco Chanel's Paris apartment recently, and I found the results to be somewhat surprising- Orient-Occidental styling (aka East meets West). Only the art deco staircase fulfilled expectations. I was imagining more... tweed, perhaps?

Double Take
The menswear shows don't necessarily spark quite the excitement deep in my soul that the womenswear shows do, but I thought this was a interesting take on Dries Van Noten's Fall 2012 menswear show from the Sartorialist (my everyone's perpetual muse).
Sometimes setting takes clothing & fashion to a whole other level. The set of photos by Scott Schuman- the Sartorialist for those of you living under a rock- add a new element to the show with its live street artists performing in the background and a wider view of the intense graphic graffiti.
The first set of photos are Sartorialist shots and the second set are typical Style.com images of the Dries Fall show. Something is missing in the latter... No?

Greece Lightning
My trip to Greece included a ton of amazing adventures- including a Big Fat Authentic Greek wedding, trips to the mountains, coastal visits to Loutraki and Nafplio, a viewing of the Corinth Canal, all the olive oil/tzatziki/fresh fish/feta I could stuff in my mouth, and a final few days shopping and sightseeing in Athens. I was with the locals, so as any traveler would, I did what the locals did. Here is my trip in a series of polaroids. Yasus!
