The designer who made his name known to mass market consumers, via Michelle Obama's inaugural ball-gown, has created a collection without a stitch of the first lady's mostly stale J Crew-esque style. Jason Wu's spring 2011 collection is loaded with refined tailoring and an edge of sex appeal in easy to wear colors off the runway; predominantly navy and beige. I especially loved the nod to the 1920's in his chic head wraps in jewel tone hues.
